2011 Chen Yuan Hao Yiwu Jincha

2011 pressing from Taiwanese boutique Chen Yuan Hao.

This tea uses the same raw materials as (semi-) annual Yiwu Zhengshan cakes, but comes in mushroom form. Tea leaves are visibly nice and whole.

The profile of this tea is very approchable, with pleasant notes of honey and sweetness in the aftertaste.

Very nice, dry natural Taiwanese storage, which hasn’t imparted any unwanted smells.
